Introduction

The Pearl 2004 Simulator offers you many possibilities, you can use it to learn how to operate the Pearl 2004 console, you could use it to pre-program your show or even use it to program the whole show. Shows are compatible with the Pearl 2000, 2004, 2008, 2010 and Tiger consoles. Note: on the Pearl Tiger only the first ten playbacks on each page are accessible from the standard console.

As with the previous simulator it gives you the familiar control surface that is the Pearl console on a PC screen. This makes the Pearl 2004 Simulator ideal for learning on.

 Installing and Running the Pearl 2004 Simulator

Please follow these instructions to ensure that installation of the Pearl 2004 Simulator is simple and easy.

System Requirements:

• Windows 2000/XP & Vista/Windows 7 (see below)
• 64MB RAM or more

To install the Pearl 2004 Simulator, first download the installation program above to a suitable location on your PC. Then run the installer on the PC you wish to install the simulator on. Please then follow the instructions given to you by the installer (Note: it may be nesasery to re-start your PC once the installation is complete). Once the installation is complete you can run the Pearl 2004 Simulator by going to the Start Menu|Programs|Avolites|Pearl 2004 Simulator and clicking on the link "Pearl 2004 Simulator".

Vista & Windows 7 Installation
To install Pearl 2004 Simulator on Windows Vista and Windows 7 please follow these steps (see image):

1. Make sure you are logged in as an administrator.
2. Right click on the installer and select 'Properties'.
3. Select the 'Compatibility' tab.
4. Tick the box to run in compatibility mode and select 'Windows XP' as the operating system.
5. Click OK.
6. Run the installer (a box may appear asking if you trust the program to run, you will have to click 'Allow' to continue)
