A very similar error has been reported for the Alpha Spot: channel 'Reset' (#13) should default to 0. But in the current personality, it defaults to 64 (the medium of the 'safe' range 0~127 - which effectively is 'effects reset'. I admit I didn't check this with a real fixture, but with some visualisation tool only (Lightconverse). But the cross-check with the manual revealed the issue. -The Shutter channel does no longer work with the fader, as it did in classic. -When patching the fixtures, the lamp lits and color changes to UV. You have to manually select "shutter closed" and "color open". -Locate doesn't work. |

Mac 2K Profile 24ch mode, Gobo Wheel 2, Fixed Index. Gobo will do it's continuous rotation but will not actually do it's indexed rotation. When selecting Gobo Wheel 2 "Fixed Index" then hitting second time, says Raw DMX but gobo doesn't index turn as the value goes up like it does on Wheel 1, just stays static. |

This is a middle/wrong position between the 15" and 18" lens , and you will see just a half hole/ not open gobo. Hi John, I have an Elation Design Spot 300 Pro in my shop and these are the problems I have found while trying to help Adam out with his issues. We were able to comfirm that the macros work. Thanks for your help, take care. Shutter: Shutter opens & closes corectly but- No Strobe (0-100%) Shutter open OK No Pulse (0-100%) Shutter open OK No Rnd Strobe (0-88%) Rnd Strobe works (89-100% Iris: Locate value should be 0 instead of 100% Prism: When inserting prism, fixture zooms down a bit, and there is no control over zoom function when a prism or effect is active. I spoke with Elation and he stated this should not happen. |

Tried patching the current file UKASO575 a few times but wont work on the Pearl 2010. Basically after I've patched MHS 575 to preset swop 1 and I try locating the fixture,nothing happens. Usually when you patch a fixture input the starting dmx address eg in this case MHS 575 spot which takes 12 channels 001-012 and then patch it to swop 1 it should prompt you for the next DMX patch starting 013 but it doesnt do that for some weird reason, moreover once i've patched the current fixture file name select it and view Fixture Patch it shows that its been patched but when I go to view DMX patch there is no details eg Pan, Tilt, Dimmer etc etc.. I would Appreciate if you can look into this. Thanks, Shawn |

Hey. I'm having some problems with the DTS xr 5 in 21 ch mode I usually have to pacth it 2 or 3 times to make it work properly. sometimes it's not posible for me to acess the macro menun in M.L. menu and the locate button won't work. all this is fixed after re-patching a few times. all this happens when it is more then 6 fixtures. It is on my pearl 2010 should patcing more then 6 fixtures really make it crash? i have a few more problems: there is no atribute for makeing the prism rotate, neither is there one for the gobo rotation. |

I did a show when i used Colorpalette on a Tiger and this happend: I recorded red, green, blue on 3 submasters. When i pulled submaster 1(red) on full the colorpalette turned red, then i pulled up submaster 3(blue) to mix the colors. The song was over and i pulled down all the active submasters but it still outputed the latest color. I haved to go in the programming menu to turn then off. I spoked to another technician that had have the same problem. This doesn´t happen on the rest of my consoles, i have tried it on grandma, hog and maxxyz and it works fine....but not on the tiger. |

Macro [Reset All] is incorrect. Currently this sets fixture quiet mode (ie. fan speed). Macro [Reset] applies the 'reset defaults' control value which only resets parameters and is probably misleading. Func ID 7 (Reset All) is the normal mechanical reset. CTO is still not implemented on the fixture software. New software update: http://www.vari-lite.com/clientuploads/directory/downloads/LSW-051.pdf Control channel ranges need updating. All control functions should also be written as macros. When locating Colour, the fixture is set to 90% white, 10% red. Possibly a calibrartion fault with the fixture as the personality does comply with the fixture user manual. Please investigate. |

In the 16 bit mode, it seems as the second pan/tilt channels should be located at the end of the channels - on channels 11/12... if i patch the fixtures in 8 bit mode, everything works fine.. thanks! |

all CMY channels. percentage values are displayed above the wheels on the LCD screen the wrong way round (100 is 0 and vice versa) somehow this has ended up on your bug reports as sapphire 96 problem. 2010! |

having some issues on VLX file, A 0.38% dimmer value always there even I press clear, a slight amount of light is coming out from the fixture, can't get a total blackout unless I reset the console.......pls advice asap, thanks! |

The control channel for gobo rotation does not work correctly. There are stepped values for gobo rotation , index etc. The control wheel seems to be linked to the actual rotation wheel, it resets the value of rotation and makes it very difficult to achieve gobo rotation. Values on both wheels are incorrect, we have been using raw dmx to achieve gobo rotation but recently a fairly big ld noticed the problem and wants it fixed asap please |

The macro for light on does not work on the spot, only the wash. And I the strobe function is not showing up like it shoud under the shutter configuration. Also random strobe is acting strage with my setup of 4 fixtures. It looks like there is 100 fixtures in the random chase and only 4 of them working. It comes some flashes and then its totaly black for like 10 seconds and then some flashes again. Had the same experience with some other Robe fixtures and a pearl 2004 a year ago. location of the error: Channel name: color detail: Raw DMX values won't work, by the way, to programm a color chase on color wheel using fadetimes it will only work (tested on mac 700 wash color wheel) by using raw dmx values, it won't do with indexed or fixed values, is this a software or user based problem? |

Please ignore the shutter channel and replace the shutter channel into dimmer channel.Reason is there is no value at the dimmer channel. We cant use share generator effect - dimmer saw. We are currently running avolites expert and pearl 2004. Hope to hear from yopu soon. |

the pallets do not match the fixture eg dimmer controlls the blue intensity speed controlls the red intensity there is a ramdom colour macro that does nothing and there is no green pallet. personality dont seen to match the fixture spec???? |
