        <Summary>ArtNET sometimes disabled when console in slave mode</Summary>
        <Detail>
          In previous versions of the Diamond software, when a console was set to slave mode, DMX output over
          ArtNET would sometimes be disabled. This has now been fixed to ensure that ArtNET data is not affected
          by placing the console in slave mode. Avolites does however recommend disabling the ArtNET output
          manually on the slave device so that duplicate DMX data is not sent across the network. This can be done
          using a monitor/keyboard/mouse combination attached to the slave device by unchecking the
          "Enable DMX Output" box from Tools > Setup DMX outputs > Settings > Art-Net dialog.

      <Feature>
        <Summary>Shape Enhancements</Summary>
        <Detail>
          The following changes have been made to the shape engine:
          <List>
            <ListItem>
              Shapes will now fade in or out according to a cue's fade and delay times.
            </ListItem>
            <ListItem>
              The Diamond can now sync the size, speed and phase of 2 shapes when fading from one to another.
            </ListItem>
            <ListItem>
              It is now possible to create a shape across multiple fixtures and only change the properties (size, speed, phase) of some of those fixtures.
            </ListItem>
            <ListItem>
              Shapes now adhere to LTP rules. When recording a shape, the shape will now continue to run until it is changed to a different value, just like Pan and Tilt, Colour etc. Shapes can be stopped by recording a zero size and speed for a shape.
            </ListItem>
            <ListItem>
              Shapes also now have default speeds defined in the personality file.

      <Feature>
        <Summary>Showsafe Enhancements</Summary>
        <Detail>
          The Diamond now has extra communication with showsafe to update the showsafe screen with connection information.
          The reliability of the show safe connection has also been vastly improved, and there is no longer the possibility
          of the connection dropping after a few minutes as was previously the case.
        </Detail>
      </Feature>

      <Feature>
        <Summary>Hold and Release</Summary>
        <Detail>
          The Hold and Release feature is a new feature allowing the operator to set any attribute of a fixture which will stay at that value until they release it from hold.
          The Hold and Release From Hold can be found in the @ menu. The @ menu is called by pressing the @ button next to the attribute wheel.
          When pressing Hold the attribute for the selected fixtures is held at the value currently set by the programmer. It will stay at this value regardless of interaction from playbacks or the programmer until the Release From Hold is pressed.
          Only the fixtures selected when pressing Release From Hold are released from hold.
        </Detail>
      </Feature>

      <Feature>
        <Summary>Update Function</Summary>
        <Detail>
          The update function updates a fired cue, with the changes contained in the programmer. The operator is informed of changes by an update screen with information on which cue and attribute is to be updated with which values. The screen is only displayed if there is anything to update. The update obeys the following rules:
          <List>
            <ListItem>
              A palette can only be replaced by another palette.
            </ListItem>
            <ListItem>
              The cue must have been fired at the time of updating.
            </ListItem>
            <ListItem>
              Only the fixtures selected will be updated.
            </ListItem>
          </List>

          The update screen has a filter facility where the content of the update screen is filtered by the search string entered, any item containing this string in any of its columns is displayed.
        </Detail>
      </Feature>

      <Feature>
        <Summary>Midi Output</Summary>
        <Detail>
          The midi output is intended to send midi triggers as single note output. This can be used to control a laser for instance.
          Midi Output sends a single note when the cue is fired.
          The midi output can be found under Soft key menu - Setup -> Midi Options. (Midi input is displayed on the left hand side of the menu, and the midi output is displayed on the right hand side of the menu)
        </Detail>
        <Detail>
          The Midi Output must be enabled to work - this is indicated by a highlighted soft key "Disable Midi Output".
          The soft key menu button "Assign Midi Note" takes the operator into the main midi output menu:
        </Detail>
        <Detail>
          First, The operator selects a playback - this can be either a cue or a cue list.
          When selecting a cue list the operator can browse through each individual cue with the navigation
          buttons on the ride hand side of the menu.
        </Detail>
        <Detail>
          On the left hand side of the Midi Output menu, the current setting is displayed for midi channel,
          midi command (note on or note off), note number (what note),
          and midi level (intensity). There is a selector where the midi note can be
          enabled or disabled. When the operator changes any of these fields, this cue is enabled to send
          a midi note when it is fired. <Stress>The console remembers the last entered values.</Stress>
          The values displayed will be the actual value stored, or when disabled the
          last value entered for this field.

      <Feature>
        <Summary>Autoload Enhancements</Summary>
        <Detail>
          It is now possible to set a specific cue within a playback to be autoloaded, so that when the parent cue is fired the autoloaded playback can start, for example, from cue 5. Also the autoload can now act as a go press on the cue list it's loading.
        </Detail>
      </Feature>

      <Feature>
        <Summary>Set Ethernet Address</Summary>
        <Detail>
          This feature allows the operator to set the ethernet address for tracking backup on the console, automatically. They can choose between an ethernet address starting with 2. or with 10.
          This feature can be called via soft key menu - Setup -> Network Settings -> Apply Quick Nework Setting 2. or Apply Quick Network Setting 10.
          The ethernet address is also now displayed on the main screen of the Diamond 4.

        <Detail>
          If the D4 is abruptly powered off, on the next startup a menu is presented offering the choice
          of show files to load. If a decision is not made within 20 seconds then the last used show file
          is loaded. The time delay is there to give the user the option to choose another show file
          should the last used show file have developed a fault. Without this rule in place, the situation
          could arise where the console fails to start up. To prevent the situation arising in the first
          place, always use an uniterruptible power supply, UPS.
